LinkedIn tapped Artist For Artist® to produce LinkedIn Exec Connect: Shaping the Spotlight, an intimate leadership event hosted inside Power Station at BerkleeNYC, one of the most iconic recording studios in the world.

The evening brought Senior leaders from sales, go-to-market, and technology into a candid conversation on creativity, influence, and innovation in an AI-accelerated world. The premise: at the senior level, leadership is about shaping the spotlight, not standing in it. The strongest leaders cut through noise, set direction, and elevate the people around them.

Led by a fireside chat with Alissia, GRAMMY-nominated Producer of the Year and one of only nine women ever nominated for the honor. Alissia brought a behind-the-scenes look at her work with Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Calvin Harris, Prince, Anderson .Paak, and many more.

Process

In partnership with another agency, Artist For Artist® drove the bulk of production end to end; from venue sourcing & build to creative & content.

We sourced and secured Power Station at BerkleeNYC, turning the legendary live room into an intimate event salon. Custom neon signage infused the space with life, while deep blue florals, vintage speakers, and instruments grounded the room in the studio's heritage.

We built the programming around Alissia's catalog. Guests stepped into a "Produced by Alissia Record Shop", spotlighting her work with Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Calvin Harris & 21 Savage, and NxWorries. As a parting gift, every attendee selected one record from the curated collection to take home, a piece of the night designed to outlast the evening.

Our scope ran wide: talent prep, run of show, F&B, and on-site execution. We also captured the night top to bottom with photography, video, and post-event sizzle reels built for LinkedIn's owned channels.

Results

The night gave LinkedIn a high-touch moment with their senior leadership as well as marketing executives from Google, Meta and AWS anchored by a creative thesis (producer-level judgment) that landed because the room itself was a recording studio. Content captured on-site continued the story afterward, extending the salon's reach across LinkedIn's wider community.

For a brand built on professional connection, the takeaway was clear: put trusted peers in the right room, give them a real point of view, and the rest follows.
